BSSI is a professional training and record keeping service corporation providing customized services based on

Better Service Supply, Inc. was established in February of 1997 in recognition of a need to provide a spectrum of intellectual services to small and medium size companies. In an ever changing environment of government and business, entrepreneurial minded business owners need the expertise of professionals usually reserved for large corporations able to afford full-time employees in non-income producing roles.
Small corporations and home-based businesses are the country’s fastest growing segments. Owners and managers of small business are involved with all aspects of operations and marketing. They have little time to attend to detail or training work required to keep records in a meaningful order. Not all companies need a full-time accountant, yet every small business will benefit from the necessary services an accountant brings to their business.

BSSI provides quality service based on information needs and instruct in the uses of information. We will work to solve all record keeping and accounting information needs. Bette Rolland established BSSI recognizing the need for small business owners to have information available to manage their business. BSSI provides software training, record keeping, bookkeeping and management support services to small businesses. BSSI personnel are qualified to provide training to in-house staff on several software packages. Instruction and set-up of QuickBooks ProTM, Real World and Peachtree are promoted.
BSSI personnel are Certified QuickBooks ProTM Advisors.

Being a small business owner, Bette understands the unique problems small business owners face.

A majority of entrepreneurs have expertise and focus in the sales and marketing of a product or service. As the business grows, so does the requirement for accurate information.

Many small businesses do not require a full-time accountant or can incur the cost of obtaining personnel with the required skills. BSSI works with the client’s staff for all “implementation processes”. Projects range from preparation of financial statements, upgrading and correcting inadequate records, procedures, and systems to structuring new software.

Cynthia L Noel, Chief Training Officer
Cynthia moved back to her native Arizona from California in 1993. She was employed at a CPA firm for 12 years in California and 5 years in Arizona. BSSI acquired her insight and training talents in 1999. Along with Bette Rolland, she recognized the desire of small business owners to have information available to manage their business using in-house personal computers. In addition to an Associates Degree in Accounting, Cynthia has attended numerous tax and management improvement seminars over her
professional career.
Working in CPA firms for over 16 years has given her a solid base in a variety of business types. She has installations, write-up, customer instruction and tax preparation to her credit. As a Staff Accountant, she has also been involved in State and Federal proceedings in California. She honed her computer installation skills at the CPA firm in Arizona. She has the patience and ability to explicate complex training and GAAP concepts to customers with little background in accounting.

The development of the inexpensive personal computer and user-friendly accounting software has lead record keeping and bookkeeping in a new, uncharted direction. It has created an education niche need to be filled. Elaine Berger, Bookkeeping Services Manager
Elaine moved to Arizona from South Dakota in May of 2005. She was employed by the largest CPA firm in S.D. for 19 years serving as the Bookkeeping Services Manager for 7 years. She supervised a staff of 20 bookkeepers at 4 locations with responsibility for training, education and client services. Elaine has kept up to date on payroll and tax issues by attending many seminars on payroll, wage & hour and tax education meetings.

Elaine’s background and experience affords BSSI additional client services. Her knowledge in the preparation of financial statements, payroll and sales tax reporting for our clients is a valuable asset. BSSI clients can focus on their business and generating revenue rather than worrying about their bookkeeping and financial recording. Her vital service also assists your tax preparer by summarizing the information needed for year-end tax preparation.
